The BT Vendor Manager is responsible for managing vendor relationships with a specialized focus on IT Professional Services, alongside management of other BT categories such as hardware, software, and cloud services. This role ensures the quality and delivery of BT services meet Faith Technologies' high standards and business objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: A Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management

Experience: 7 years of IT vendor management experience, with at least 3 years focused on IT professional services.

Travel: 10%

Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all aspects of vendor relationships for IT professional services, including consulting, implementation, managed services, and support services.
  • Assist procurement in the negotiation of contracts, SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) with IT service providers to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor vendor performance, manage escalations, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that reduce costs while increasing value, focusing on IT professional services.
  • Assist corporate procurement and lead IT stakeholders with RFPs (Request for Proposals), RFIs (Request for Information), and other procurement processes for IT services.
  • Collaborate with BT stakeholders to drive towards an effective workforce comprised of a mixture of team members and various types of professional services labor.
  • Cultivate strong, strategic partnerships with key IT vendors to enhance business capabilities and innovation.
  • Facilitate communication between vendors, BT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with business strategy.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT service vendors, including financial, compliance, and operational risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies
  • Regularly review and report on vendor performance metrics against set benchmarks.
  • Use data-driven insights to influence vendor selection and management strategies.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
