Travel Certified Surgical/Scrub Technologist
Location

Days: Monday - Friday, with potential call.
Job Description
Join our Perioperative Services team as a Travel Certified Surgical/Scrub Technologist and trade city traffic for mountain views while enhancing your surgical experience in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Work alongside experienced surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and surgical staff in a community-focused critical access hospital, delivering exceptional care before, during, and after surgery.
Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operative procedures, maintaining sterile technique and supporting surgical workflow.
  • Prepare operating rooms and ensure readiness of instruments and supplies for scheduled procedures.
  • Support perioperative patient care, including patient transport, positioning, specimen management, and postoperative preparation activities.
  • Participate in on-call coverage and be ready to scrub urgent or emergent procedures within required response times.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
  • Current BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Previous operating room experience.
  • Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative procedures.
  • Ability to participate in call coverage and respond within required timeframes.
