Certified Scrub Technician - Operating Room
Schedule
10-Hour Rotating Shifts (Day/Evening)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Certified Scrub Technician to join our dynamic operating room team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support during surgical procedures while adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures including orthopedic, robotic, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro.
  • Maintain sterile environment and ensure all instruments are prepared and available for surgical procedures.
  • Support the operating room team by floating as needed and participating in call and weekend shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with all guidelines and protocols in a Level 1 trauma setting.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is required.
  • AHA BLS certification is required; CNOR certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of operating room experience, preferably in a large, teaching hospital.
  • Prior travel experience is required.
  • Ability to work in a single scrub capacity in CT cases is essential.
  • Must have solid knowledge of various surgical procedures.
