SUMMARY
The Program Manager provides oversight for multiple projects and workstreams supporting assigned clients within the Q2 Integrated Services organization. This role is responsible for coordinating delivery across teams, maintaining program alignment with client objectives, and ensuring high-quality outcomes. The Program Manager serves as the primary point of contact for program delivery, managing communications with clients and internal stakeholders while driving overall program success.
A Typical Day:
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously within a matrixed environment, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and manage interdependencies across internal teams and partners.
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps for assigned financial institutions (FIs).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program delivery and client engagement.
  • Manage program-level communications with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide regular status updates and strategic insights to internal leadership, including senior executives.
  • Track program progress, identify changes in priorities or strategy, and communicate impacts.
  • Establish and maintain program governance, including risk and issue management and escalation as needed.
  • Proactively monitor program health, anticipating and addressing potential challenges.
  • Manage program documentation and reporting, including dashboards and standard program artifacts.
  • Monitor program resourcing and escalate potential capacity or staffing concerns.
  • Develop and support measurement and reporting frameworks such as KPIs, balanced scorecards, and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain delivery playbooks and operational best practices.
  • Foster strong client relationships and ensure a high standard of service delivery.

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 8+ years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6 years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
  • Project Management Methodology exposure preferred (PMP or PMI)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience building documentation and project plans using MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance program delivery, decision-making, and operational efficiency is preferred.
  • Good hands-on experience of MS Visio, Lucid charts etc.
  • Exposure to Jira, Salesforce, Qualtrics, PowerBI etc
  • Experience managing expectations and providing creative solutions to priority conflicts for high-profile clients.
  • Ability to develop new initiatives and processes that produce higher levels of customer satisfaction while reducing expenses and shortening project durations.
  • Capable of assessing project risks and related mitigation steps.

  • Prior experience with Salesforce (or other CRM tools) and SharePoint preferred.
  • Financial Services and enterprise software experience preferred.
