Rotational Program Overviewย 

AEDP is a 3-year rotational program designed for entry level hires to explore up to three different design centers in their first three years with American Structurepoint.ย ย 

  • Develop Well-Rounded Engineers through rotations across our Road group and Indianapolis, Ohio, Florida/Texasย 
  • Gain Exposure to Regional Projects and varying client needsย 
  • Understand the Full Project Lifecycle from design to field implementationย 
  • Build Cross-Office Collaboration Skills with teams across design centers and job sitesย 
  • Prepare Future Project Leaders with diverse, real-world experienceย

Responsibilities

What you will do:ย 

  • Contribute to roadway designs, layout alignments, create typical sections, site assessment and engineering report development.ย 
  • Creating construction plan sets in MicroStation ORD CAD Programย 
  • Prepare design calculation documentationย 
  • Develop construction cost estimatesย 
  • Different projects would include Roundabouts, Urban Roads, Rural Roads and Large Interstate Improvementsย 
  • Work is completed in the office with occasional site visitsย 
  • Other duties as assignedย 
Qualifications

Who you are:ย 

  • Students majoring in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering or other related programs with an emphasis on Civil Engineeringย 
  • Reliable transportation to and from office locationย 
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new thingsย 
  • Graduating in December 2025 or May/June 2026ย
