What you'll be doing?
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's technology infrastructure, business applications, cybersecurity, and IT operations across retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices. This role ensures the availability, security, scalability, and performance of all technology platforms supporting retail operations, customer experience, supply chain activities, and business growth.
The successful candidate will serve as a key business partner to management while leading day-to-day IT operations and technology initiatives across multiple locations throughout California (LAX and SFO)
IT Leadership & Strategy
  • Support the development and execution of the organization's IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency, productivity, and customer experience.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that support business growth and innovation.
  • Manage IT budgets, technology roadmaps, vendor relationships, and service contracts.
  • Ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value.

Retail Systems Management
  • Oversee all retail technology platforms, including POS, ERP, inventory management, CRM, eCommerce, loyalty programs, and payment systems.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of store technology across all locations.
  • Lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of retail applications and business systems.
  • Support new store openings, relocations, renovations, and expansion projects.
  • Coordinate system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.

Infrastructure & Operations
  • Manage enterprise infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud environments, telecommunications, and end-user computing devices.
  • Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery readiness, and system resilience.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and service delivery through established KPIs and SLAs.
  • Oversee IT service management processes and user support operations.
  • Manage technology assets, licensing, and lifecycle planning.

Cybersecurity & Compliance
  • Implement and enforce information security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Manage cybersecurity risks, vulnerability assessments, security monitoring, and incident response activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regional regulations, PCI-DSS requirements, and corporate governance standards.
  • Oversee identity and access management controls.
  • Promote cybersecurity awareness and user training programs throughout the organization.

ERP & Business Applications
  • Manage ERP support, optimization, and enhancement initiatives.
  • Oversee integrations between ERP, POS, warehouse management systems, financial applications, and third-party platforms.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
  • Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and business intelligence capabilities.
  • Coordinate application support activities with internal teams and external vendors.

Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop IT team members to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Manage internal resources, consultants, and external technology partners.
  • Establish performance goals, development plans, and training initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure appropriate resource planning and workload management.

Ideal Candidate
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree or MBA is considered an advantage.

Experience
  • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 3-5 years in an IT management or supervisory role within retail, distribution, FMCG, or consumer-focused organizations.
  • Proven experience supporting multi-site retail operations.
  • Experience supporting regional operations across the California (LAX and SFO) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience managing technology vendors, projects, and support teams.

Technical Expertise
  • Retail POS platforms.
  • ERP systems (not mandatory).
  • Microsoft Azure and/or AWS Cloud environments.
  • SQL Server and Oracle databases.
  • Network infrastructure, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and security technologies.
  • Cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards.
  • Business intelligence, reporting, and analytics platforms.
  • IT service management best practices.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $115,000-$125,000. Placement within this range will be based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This role is eligible for an annual bonus program.
