Additionally, before applying, you must inform your direct supervisor and/or Hotel Director, as well as your HR manager, about your interest in participating in the internal selection process. Your line manager will not have the authority to authorize or halt your application, but must be properly informed.

Responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all computer systems, data
and voice communications activities at property.
Provide a high level of IT support services to guests and staff as well as 24 hour coverage
for the computer systems, either on site or remotely, depending on business needs.
Preform configuration/installation and troubleshooting of workstation hardware and
software, including laptops, tablets, printers and mobile devices.
Responsible for desktop imaging and configuration of Server and Workstations and
backup systems.
Network administration, PC and network trouble shooting, network switch management,
Mail Server management, operating system and application software upgrading.
Prioritization of multiple projects and demands on a weekly, daily and hourly basis.
Anti-virus and firewall management, hardware configuration and troubleshooting
Hotel specific application maintenance and administration and installation of Ethernet
cabling.
Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff.
Interact positively with customers and take action to resolve problems to maintain a high
level of customer satisfaction and quality
Coordinate activities with other hotel departments in order to facilitate increased levels
of communication and guest satisfaction.
Acts as Manager on Duty as required.
Complete projects and other tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
An Associate's, Bachelor's degree or technical institute's degree/certificate in information Technology, information systems, of related technology field.
2+ year's Help Desk, Desktop support experience required; previous hospitality information technology experience desired.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications.
Knowledge of and experience working with security management systems.
Understanding of advance desktop infrastructure, commonly used concepts and practices.
Knowledge of networking as it pertains to all aspects of desktop support: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wireless configuration (802.11x).
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must be numbers-oriented, computer-literate including written communication, spreadsheet formulation and online order-entry and computer systems.
Knowledge of Opera (PMS), MICROS (POS), and HotSOS preferred.
Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with internal/external customers both in written and verbal format.
Deal with the general public, customers, associates, and government officials with tact and courtesy.
Ability to read and interpret business records and statistical reports.
Ability to use mathematical skills to interpret financial information and prepare budgets.
Interpret established policies and understand the government regulations pertaining to the business.
Make business decisions based on production reports and similar facts as well as on your own experience and personal opinions.
See differences in widths and lengths of lines such as those on graphs.
Must be able to change activity frequently, and cope with interruptions.
Must be flexible and able to work mornings, evenings, overnight, weekends and/or holidays depending on business demands.
Also must be available to be on-call after working hours
