About the Role

Ready to help power a high-profile Financial Services account at BCD Meetings & Events? This role is the operational heartbeat of the account, keeping global teams aligned, processes sharp, and delivery running smoothly in a highly regulated, detail-focused environment. You'll partner closely with leadership to drive governance, reporting, quality, and continuous improvement across event management, attendee data, web, and finance functions. If you love building structure, solving complex challenges, and making great work happen behind the scenes within the world of strategic meetings management,  this could be your next move.

You're Good At

  • Leading cross-functional teams and keeping complex workstreams moving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven Financial Services events environment. This is a leadership role with global reach.
  • Building SOPs, governance frameworks, and operational controls that support quality, compliance, and consistency across event planning services. 
  • Turning data into action through KPI tracking, executive dashboards, and clear operational reporting
  • Managing budgets, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives with strong financial accuracy and business judgment
  • Using Cvent and event technology tools to improve attendee experiences, reporting, and overall program delivery.

You Might Also Have

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in leading event planning teams, event management, or a related field. 
  • Experience supporting Financial Services, enterprise, or other regulated industries where precision and professionalism matter
  • A background in event planning, meeting management, or event operations. People management is a must have for this role. 
  • Experience leading client-facing teams and building high-performing, accountable cultures
  • CMP or similar accreditation, plus experience across agencies, suppliers, or end clients

You Should Know

  • This role is in-office at the client's New York headquarters at least 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday, with up to 25% travel annually. The client's office is located near Times Square.

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:Less than 25% 

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Global Operations Manager, Event Management  is between $120,000 - $165,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
