IT Manager - Implementation

Your role on the team:
  • Lead end-to-end TMS client onboarding and implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery, performance tracking, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage and develop a team of 4-6 analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and oversight on technical design and implementation work
  • Act as a TMS SME (preferably Tier 1 platforms such as MercuryGate/Infios), supporting configuration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Oversee and support system integrations (API, EDI, XML) between TMS and other platforms such as ERP, WMS, and carrier systems
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external clients to gather requirements, manage expectations, and deliver scalable solutions
  • Monitor IT infrastructure and system operations, proactively identifying risks and recommending improvements
  • Develop reporting tools, performance metrics, and insights to drive operational efficiency and project success
  • Evaluate training needs, develop materials, and provide training to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes
  • Contribute to process standardization and optimization across implementations, with a focus on scalability and best practices
  • Support customer-facing initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally, including sales support and business development efforts

What you need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from a 4 year college or university
  • 10+ years of experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), including Tier 1 platforms
  • 6+ years of experience leading TMS implementations and client onboarding projects
  • 3+ years of people management experience, including managing teams of 4-6 individuals
