Salary Range: $160,000-178,000, DOE

General Overview:

The Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) engineering efforts include engaging in Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) technical engineering and integration. Participate in C2BMC analysis, concept development, requirements, capability planning, interface controls, allocation of C3BM requirements, trade studies, communications, data sharing, verification, sustainment engineering, testing, fielding and site assessments, analysis of MDS prime contractor documentation, lab experimentation, information assurance, and certifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide systems engineering support to the MDA/BC Advanced Technology project office (MDA/BCDV).
  • Engage in identifying MDA track and discrimination data needs and define interfaces. Prepare analysis, schedules, reports, and briefings that address integrating advanced capabilities into the MDS and implementation of C3BM candidate technologies.
  • Assist with MDA/BCDV efforts to coordinate the requirements process, report on the utility and feasibility of requirements changes, and assess proposed requirements for technical and programmatic feasibility.
  • Assess, identify, and assist in planning for tracking and discrimination algorithm performance and maturity, including incorporating enhanced capabilities into the development process. Prepare technology transition plans and assessments for incorporating system track and discrimination algorithms into the MDS. Prepare assessments relative to maturity of sensor data fusion systems.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and prepare status updates on contractor plans to conduct verification testing for candidate technology.
  • Prepare meeting minutes or synopsis.
  • Participate in BCDV capability engineering reviews, milestone decision processes and baseline reviews of technology development programs.
  • Prepare agendas, briefings, and minutes or synopsis for the various forums.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM program: Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering or other similar program
  • 8+ years of Related Experience
  • Secret Clearance
  • Required experience with Sensor Tracking, System Track, Discrimination Testing and Evaluation, C3Bm and Advanced Technologies.
  • Familiarity with MDA, MDS, and/or C3BM Program Office work efforts
  • Familiarity with MDA/BC advanced technology efforts and programs
  • Military experience is a plus
  • Familiarity/algorithm knowledge of radar/sensor capabilities, and any models/simulations skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a dynamic environment
  • Work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, sub-contractor and supporting contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment
