The Director IT Corporate Systems is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the company’s JD Edwards system while ensuring its seamless integration with other corporate systems and business processes. The Director, IT Corporate Systems is responsible for collaborating with business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and key stakeholders to align technology solutions with organizational objectives. Duties include leading JD Edwards system strategy and governance, managing system enhancements and integrations, supporting business operations with reliable and efficient enterprise applications, and driving continuous improvement through system optimization, technical leadership, and process innovation.

How success is defined:

 

  • Lead and manage the IT Corporate Systems team, including system administrators, analysts, and developers.
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the JD Edwards system, aligning it with business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather system requirements and ensure effective integration with other corporate systems.
  • Assist and participate in implementations and upgrades specifically as it pertains to third party integrations.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the JD Edwards system, including support, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security within the system.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the JD Edwards system.
  • Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.
  • Exhibits and adheres to the established Visual Comfort Company Values.
  • Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule while maintaining a consistent presence in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on JD Edwards experience.
  • Strong knowledge of JD Edwards modules, including Financials, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain Management, with proficiency in EnterpriseOne, BI Publisher, and One View Reporting.
  • Proven experience leading and developing IT teams, managing multiple priorities, and delivering complex projects successfully through collaboration and a team-oriented approach.
  • Solid understanding of system integration, data management, and business process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results independently and through others by fostering teamwork, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders across a variety of communication channels.
  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and drive organizational change.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support critical system implementations, upgrades, issue resolution, and business operations.

Compensation Range: $176,000 - $186,000

Compensation is based on individual factors, including skill set, relevant experience, and work location
