Technology Business Partner & Delivery Manager

Washington Trust is seeking a Technology Business Partner & Delivery Manager to serve as the key link between business lines and IT Services, helping drive technology-enabled business transformation across the Bank. This role combines business analysis, project management, process improvement, Agile delivery, and AI enablement to deliver solutions that improve efficiency, enhance reporting, and create measurable business value.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to identify technology opportunities and solve business challenges.
  • Lead technology initiatives from intake through implementation.
  • Gather requirements, document business processes, and support solution design.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and manage backlogs, user stories, and project priorities.
  • Support AI, automation, data, reporting, and modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with software development, integration, data, infrastructure, and security teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, Product Ownership, Scrum Master, Process Improvement, or Technology Consulting roles.
  • Experience leading technology projects involving software development, integrations, data platforms, reporting, or business process automation.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and communicate effectively with business and technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis, process mapping, workflow analysis, change management, stakeholder management, and project planning.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, backlog management, user story development, sprint planning, and Agile reporting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Copilot, Azure DevOps, enterprise data and analytics platforms, SDLC, API and systems integration concepts, and business intelligence/reporting solutions.
  • Understanding of Generative AI concepts, practical business applications, AI governance, security, risk, and responsible use considerations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-PMP, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or related certification.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Power Platform Functional Consultant, Microsoft Applied Skills, Copilot-related certifications, or similar credentials.
  • Experience evaluating or implementing AI-powered productivity solutions.

Compensation

A good-faith, reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $125,000 per year. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, and education. This base salary reflects one component of our competitive compensation package. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
