Mid-Level IT Business Partner

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization is currently looking for a Mid-Level Information Technology Business Partner to join their team at our Berkeley, MO or Hazelwood, MO location.

A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with program engineers, senior leadership, and IT Infrastructures teams to develop and implement IT solutions helping to enable the BDS business to meet their organizational goals.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports

  • Be an effective liaison between the business teams and the Boeing and Dell IT teams supporting the St Louis programs

  • Work with IT design teams to develop technical solutions supporting business needs, then work the solution through the funding and procurement processes, and then through implementation and business team acceptance

  • Work with the production teams on the floors to resolve IT issues, and implement IT solutions to improve and increase production capabilities

  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in a dedicated Organizational Management Field

  • Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high-quality delivery

  • This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship

  • Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other technical degree

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Experience leading employees/teams involved in multiple engineering disciplines Familiarity with NIST SP 800-37, Risk Management Framework, the Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG), and NIST SP 800-53, Rev 4, Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems and Organizations
