Saronic is seeking a talented and organized Associate IT Technician. This role is responsible for providing basic IT support, including setting up and deploying IT equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer experience mindset, and an interest in developing a career in IT. You will be responsible for setting up and staging new hire systems, screening tickets for escalation and assisting the team with ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Provide support for hardware, software, and network issues, including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and mobile devices
โ€ข Troubleshoot and resolve or escalate technical issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
โ€ข Assist with user access-based incidents and requests.
โ€ข Document and track support tickets using a helpdesk management system, ensuring resolutions are well-documented.
โ€ข Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging IT trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
โ€ข Collaborate with senior IT staff on complex technical projects, migrations, and system upgrades.
โ€ข Ensure adherence to security best practices, including data protection and access control.
โ€ข Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide an excellent experience in support of the business.
Qualifications
โ€ข Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
โ€ข Previous role with customer service experience.
โ€ข Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues.
โ€ข Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems.
โ€ข Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
โ€ข Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
