Summary

The IT Services Associate provides hands-on technical support for employees across all company locations, with a focus on assisting plant production and business support teams. This entry-level role helps ensure a smooth IT experience by supporting end-user computing devices, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with collaboration tools. The IT Services Associate will gain exposure to IT support processes, device management, and workplace technologies while contributing to the efficiency and productivity of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist employees with in-person and remote technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues. 
  • Help deploy, configure, and maintain workplace technology, including Windows and macOS devices, printers, and peripherals. 
  • Support collaboration and communication tools, including Zoom, Microsoft 365, and Jira Service Management. 
  • Assist in managing Active Directory, Endpoint Central, and MDM solutions under supervision. 
  • Document IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and end-user support guides. 
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and track device lifecycle. 

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Education, Experience, and Certification 

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in IT support, workplace services, or a related field (internships or coursework may be considered). 

Preferred Certifications: 

  • CompTIA A+, Security+, or Network+ (preferred but not required) 
  • Microsoft Fundamentals certifications (e.g., MS-900, MD-100) 

Technical Skills & Knowledge 

  • Basic troubleshooting skills for Windows and macOS environments. 
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and collaboration tools like Zoom. 
  • Understanding of networking basics and endpoint security best practices. 
  • Exposure to IT service management platforms such as Jira Service Management is a plus. 

Soft Skills & Abilities 

  • Strong customer service and communication skills. 
  • Ability to explain technical issues in a simple and clear manner. 
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Data

$24-$28/hr

Working Conditions

Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each work day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
