THIS IS A SHORT-TERM CONTRACT THAT ENDS ON AUGUST 31, 2026.

JOB TITLE: Assistive Technology Assessment Analyst I

LOCATION: Mark Center, Alexandria, VA

SUPPORTING: DHRA CAP Contract

JOB CATEGORY: Full-Time

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.

The salary range or hourly rate provided reflects the typical range for this position and represents just one part of Patrona Corporationโ€™s comprehensive total compensation package.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Communications, Social Sciences, Education, Special Education, Rehabilitation Management, or closely related field, or professional equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience in market research, assistive technology, and job accommodations is preferred.
  • Specialized disability subject matter education, training, and experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of assistive technology used by people with disabilities is preferred.
  • Knowledge of physical, sensory, and cognitive aspects of people with disabilities, to include functional limitations, is preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate with internal and external CAP customers via phone, email and in person.
  • Provide support during needs assessments to determine assistive technology for CAP customers.
  • Review medical documentation and accommodation requests submitted by CAP customers.
  • Provide support at local and non-local events and presentations.
  • Participate in assistive technology demonstrations for CAP customers, the general public, and other external constituents.
  • Provide support at the CAP Technology Evaluation Center (CAPTEC) located in the Pentagon.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Interpersonal skills and soft skills: problem-solving, accountability, active listening, empathy, and adaptability.
  • Written communication: ability to craft clear, concise, and professional written communication across various formats.
  • Verbal communication skills: ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint for project tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
