Job description

Alphanumeric is hiring a Technical Product Owner to work remotely out of the Research Triangle Park, NC area with our client of 20 years committed to improving lives through medical and pharmaceutical advancements.

Pay Rate - $66.50 hourly
Start - ASAP
Fully Remote - 8am-5pm with a little flexibility (9-6 ok) - Eastern Time

Technical Product Owner within the Enterprise Applications Technical team is responsible for partnering with Legal and Compliance business teams as well as cross-functional Tech teams to drive ongoing enhancements for tech products within their domain, aligning with business needs. 

As the Product Expert, you will analyze both business and technical aspects of product changes, ensure alignment with the product roadmap, oversee project implementations, and meticulously establish robust architectural foundations for the products. To be successful in this role you will need to balance business needs, technical feasibility, and user satisfaction to drive product success.

Your responsibilities may include the following:
* Collaborating with third-party providers, developers, and internal partners to perform technical configuration and customization of solutions to meet our customers' needs and deliver an excellent user experience.
* Participating in technical governance and oversight of product development.
* Supporting the Product team in evaluating technology solutions and collaborating with vendors to influence future enhancements.
* Managing and assessing incoming demands as part of the product backlog.
* Ensuring that all products supporting the business comply with internal security and risk management policies.
* Adhering to external regulatory and statutory requirements (e.g., GxP, Sarbanes Oxley), as well as safeguarding sensitive data according to policies and processes.
* Establishing Tech continuity plans for critical business products.
* Managing change and release activities, including Software as a Service (SaaS) updates, in the production service and ensuring compliance.
* Optimizing data flow between upstream and downstream systems through secure and accurate integrations.
* Engineering and constructing drill-down dashboards and reporting capabilities for both operational and analytical reporting

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* Bachelor's degree in technical fields is preferred. However, an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training can also serve as a substitute.
* 10+ years' experience successfully delivering business applications and solutions within a large global organization.
* Demonstrated deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
* Experience with IT project management, system consulting, and business analysis.
* Experience collaborating with third-party vendors and diverse teams across different countries and cultures.
* Understanding of Product Management through Agile Software Development.
* Proficient in SQL (Oracle/MSSQL) and at least one Microsoft development tool (e.g., Visual Studio).
* Experience using O365 and Windows Office administration tools is a significant advantage.
* Experience with technical writing, analytics, and problem-solving.
* Relationship management, influencing, and communication skills.
* Familiarity with IT service management for a complex, global service.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
* Candidates in Eastern and Central US time zones are preferred; however, all qualified candidates will be considered.
* Experience with technical solutions supporting Legal eDiscovery, EDRM, litigation hold, data collection, export, and review, as well as global operations (e.g., Exterro or Relativity, Legal matter management, document management tools) & related systems configuration.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Data Platform including Power Apps and Power BI.
* Experience with Remote Desktop (RDP), Microsoft O365 system administrator tools/ Purview (formerly known as Security and Compliance Center)
* PowerShell scripting
* Experience with an eDiscovery tool such as Axcelerate, Clearwell, Relativity, Exterro, etc.
