Job description

Barbaricum is seeking a Technical Writer II to support the development and maintenance of technical documentation for government programs. This role will be responsible for organizing, writing, and editing technical materials to support program deliverables.

The selected candidate will work with subject matter experts to ensure documentation is accurate, clear, and accessible to intended audiences.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and reports.
Collect and organize technical information from subject matter experts.
Edit and format documentation for clarity and consistency.
Support preparation of training materials and program deliverables.
Ensure documentation meets program and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications:

Active DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance required.
Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience, OR Associate's degree/technical school, OR HS/GED with 10+ years of experience or military experience (E4+).
Experience writing and editing technical documentation.
Strong written communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting DoD or federal programs.
Familiarity with technical documentation standards and style guides.
