Now Hiring: Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor – Laser Systems Repair
Oxford, MA | 100% On-Site

Ardent Staffing Solutions is recruiting an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to lead a team responsible for the repair and service of advanced laser systems.

This position is ideal for a hands-on technical leader with experience in lasers, photonics, field service, or other sophisticated capital equipment. The supervisor will oversee daily repair center operations, support complex troubleshooting, monitor team performance, manage customer escalations, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a team of repair technicians
  • Overseeing equipment diagnostics, repairs, quality control, and spare-parts inventory
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Product Development, and Quality teams
  • Communicating directly with customers and resolving escalated service concerns
  • Tracking performance metrics and implementing corrective actions
  • Managing warranty claims, replacements, service contracts, and technical documentation
  • Improving service efficiency, product reliability, cost control, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree, technical degree or certificate, or equivalent technical experience
  • Three to five years of laser, photonics, field service, or sophisticated capital-equipment experience
  • Previous leadership, technical support, or customer support management experience
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed
