Job description

  1. Development, implementation and maintenance of educational materials for HVAC product and services training. Prepare sales aids, stock lists, match up forms etc๏ฟฝ for internal and customer use.
  2. Scheduling, organizing, facilitation and delivery of classroom, virtual classroom, and on-the-job training for branch personnel and customers. Development and updating of a variety of HVAC certification programs as necessary.
  3. Become certified trainer in vendor training programs (Kohler, Mitsubishi)
  4. Monitors the HVAC training programs to evaluate their effectiveness and recommend modifications as necessary.
  5. Functions as an internal consultant on HVAC product lines to assess, measure, and enhance the performance of employees.
  6. Responds in a timely manner to customers and TGG associates seeking technical support.
  7. When necessary, visit job sites with customers and vendors.
  8. Maintains records of HVAC training activities and employee attendance and progress. Also requires tracking income and expenses for all training.
  9. Coordinates learning delivery through multiple mediums including personal facilitation, e-learning, vendor, and/or other established educational organizations or professional development group.
  10. Facilitate and support the integration of company marketing concepts and strategies within the sales function and convey integration methods to the branch staff .Accompany outsides sales team and branch managers during client presentations; proactively secure and generate new business and identify plumbing and heating contractors seeking to add HVAC to their business strategy .Collaborate with purchasing and branch staff to collectively identify the necessary HVAC products for servicing the marketplace.
  11. Interface with new hired and tenured employees to ensure that the HVAC sales training program addresses, both, current and future organizational needs
  12. Continuously Remains abreast of HVAC industry trends and monitors HVAC marketplace. Continuously participate in increasing knowledge of HVAC products, local and federal requirements, technological advances and strategies.
  13. Work with VP of Marketing and manufacturers representatives to set up counter days and other educational functions for The Granite Group staff and customers.
  14. Perform all duties in a consistently safe manner and adhere to all company safety policies.
  15. Be familiar with Wrightsoft to assist branches who need help with this program.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.
