Position Overview

Regional Sales Manager drives revenue within their designated territory by developing business relationships and providing customer‑focused solutions to our customers’ toughest requirements. They act as subject‑matter experts and consultants for internal and external customers regarding our range of converting equipment. Technical and marketing staff support the Regional Sales Manager from our North American headquarters as well as EMBA AB headquarters in Sweden.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily territory management to maintain and gain new accounts and meet or exceed revenue goals through visits to various customer plants and offices, actively searching for new customers and projects to achieve desired results and goals.
  • Identify customer needs and collaborate with operations to deliver on those needs.
  • Understand market conditions and competitive environment to optimize marketing pricing opportunities and supply reports.
  • Optimize product and service offerings to a diversified customer base and reach additional market segments, especially in the area of the technically demanding integrated customers. Support will be provided from the technical staff both in the USA and from the EMBA headquarters in Sweden.
  • Make formal presentations to customer decision‑makers and educate them on EMBA equipment.
  • Exhibit excellent behavior with customers’ top‑level management.
  • In conjunction with technical department, make formal presentations to customer decision‑makers and educate them on equipment.
  • Understand market conditions and competitive environment to optimize pricing opportunity and negotiate a sales price up to an advance agreed discount level.
  • Follow projects actively.
  • Give feedback about competitor activities in dedicated market area.
Qualifications
  • Experience selling/marketing technically complex capital equipment.
  • Self‑motivated to achieve goals and deliver results with passion for customer service.
  • Communicates professionally and effectively.
  • Ability to negotiate with and influence decision makers adapt to changing business needs.
  • Good level of knowledge specifically from the corrugated board industry.
  • Experience and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Technically savvy with today's fast‑moving multimedia and social media platforms, conducting ZOOM and TEAMS meetings.
  • Above average computer skills, weekly submission of electronic expense report and monthly sales activity reports.
Professional Experience
  • Several years technical sales experience preferably from the machinery or manufacturing corrugated industry.
  • Proven sales experience of large capital equipment projects.
  • Technical Sales Engineer and/or Education at the university level, preferably in mechanical engineering, automation or similar.
