TECHNICAL CIVIL SOLAR PROJECT MANAGER

EVS is seeking a Technical Civil Solar Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of civil engineering projects across renewable energy and power delivery markets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical teams, project planning, and client communication helping ensure projects stay organized, efficient, and on track from kickoff through delivery.
You'll play a key role in aligning civil engineering teams, managing project workflows, and supporting successful project outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and task tracking to support solar project execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional solar engineering teams to align priorities, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Lead project meetings, documenting key decisions, action items, and next steps.
  • Facilitate collaboration across disciplines to resolve conflicts and maintain project momentum.
  • Maintain project management tools with accurate updates on progress, workload, and forecasts.
  • Track project budgets, hours, and work-in-progress (WIP), providing regular updates to leadership.
  • Prepare internal and client-facing reports on project status, milestones, risks, and performance.
  • Identify project risks early and escalate issues proactively to support timely resolution.
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for clients regarding schedules, deliverables, and logistics.
  • Support client meetings and ensure follow-up actions are clearly communicated and executed.
  • Assist in gathering project requirements and translating them into actionable plans for civil solar engineering teams.
  • Support financial tracking including budget adherence, revenue adjustments, and forecasting.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Management, or 5+ years of civil solar design experience.
  • Experience managing civil engineering and/or solar projects within a consulting, design, or infrastructure environment.
  • Strong understanding of civil land development engineering workflows, terminology, and project delivery processes.
  • Proficiency with project management tools for scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and clients.
  • Collaborative problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify challenges and implement practical solutions.
