Technical Project Manager

Location: Evanston, IL (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week) Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description: Client is seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex, enterprise-level initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Infrastructure, IT Operations, and Digital Platform projects, managing efforts from inception to completion in a hybrid cloud and datacenter environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cross-functional technology projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
  • Drive projects in areas such as:
    • Digital Platforms: ERP enhancements, application integration and adoption, web hosting, and the full software development lifecycle.
    • Infrastructure: Cloud-to datacenter migrations, Azure/AWS hybrid integrations, network modernization, M365 modernization.
    • IT Operations: Process improvement initiatives, ServiceNow (ITSM, CMDB) enhancements, and enterprise tool rollouts.
  • Engage and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and status reports.
  • Manage risks, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary to ensure continuous project momentum.
  • Apply best practices in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT Project Management, particularly at the enterprise infrastructure and operations level.
