Our work culture is intense and isn't for everyone. But, if you're a self-starter eager to shape the future of social interaction with a team that holds itself to the highest standards, this is the place for you. We value open, yet respectful communication and real-time feedback to help each other grow quickly. If you're passionate about gaming and have a knack for gamifying everyday life, you'll thrive in our fast-moving, collaborative environment.
About the Role
We're looking for a Technical Project Manager who can drive execution across engineering, product, and cross-functional teams - particularly within mobile application development (iOS and Android). This role sits at the intersection of technical understanding and operational excellence, ensuring projects move quickly, priorities stay aligned, and teams are consistently delivering. We are at an exciting time with the rise of AI technologies that can really help redefine what traditional project management looks like. We are looking for a practical innovator using these technologies to help us transform how communication and alignment between team members work in the future.
You'll play a key role in bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to complex initiatives. This is a highly hands-on role where you are expected to own delivery, enforce organization, and drive momentum across teams.
Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery across technical initiatives.
  • Partner closely with engineering and product teams to define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Drive execution across mobile application development efforts (iOS and Android).
  • Ensure strong organization, prioritization, and delivery discipline across all active projects.
  • Track progress against goals, proactively identifying risks, blockers, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, design, and other stakeholders.
  • Run key agile rituals including standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Leverage tools like Linear, Jira, or similar to manage workflows and maintain visibility.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear updates for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve project management processes, tools, and team efficiency.
  • Act as a force multiplier for engineering teams by removing friction and enabling focus.

What We're Looking For
  • 4-8+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, or similar roles.
  • Strong track record of organization and delivery - you consistently ship and drive outcomes.
  • Experience working directly with teams building native mobile applications (iOS and Android).
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Linear, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey priorities, risks, and updates.
  • Ability to operate with urgency and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Fluency with AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT to automate and augment workflows.

What Stands Out
  • Experience supporting consumer-facing, real-time, or live service products.
  • Strong familiarity with mobile development workflows and release cycles.
  • Operational mindset with a track record of improving execution and team velocity.
  • Ability to balance speed and structure, knowing when to push process vs. move fast.
  • Experience working closely with high-performing engineering teams.

Salary & Benefits
Compensation: 108k -$138k base + options.
Benefits Include:
  • Unlimited PTO to prioritize work-life balance.
  • 401(k) plan to invest in your future.
  • Comprehensive health insurance to support your well-being.
  • Paid company holidays for time to recharge.
  • Competitive salary that reflects your impact and contributions.

Where You'll Work: This is a full-time, on-site position in Santa Monica.
