Meet the team:
The Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr TPM) will lead complex, crossfunctional technical programs supporting the development, commercialization, and lifecycle management of Dexcom's CGM products. This role operates at the intersection of hardware, software, operations, quality, and regulatory, ensuring programs are executed with rigor in a highly regulated medical device environment.
The Sr TPM is accountable for endtoend program execution-driving alignment across engineering, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and supply chain teams to deliver AI and analytic products on time, in scope, and in compliance with internal and external requirements
This role requires a strong technical background and experience in product development/project management, ideally in a regulated environment such as medical device development.
Where you come in:
  • Program Execution: Lead AI/ML infrastructure (e.g., pre-training, post-training pipelines, inference stacks) and Business Intelligence projects, managing milestones, timelines, and resources.

  • Technical Strategy & Roadmap: Collaborate with research scientists, data scientists, IT, and engineers to define and build state-of-the-art modeling techniques and AI products.

  • Risk Management & Mitigation: Proactively identify technical risks (e.g., model drift, data drift, bottlenecks) and devise solutions, ensuring high-quality, production-ready AI models.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, Engineering, IT, Quality, Legal, and Security teams to ensure compliant and safe AI deployment, such as human-in-the-loop (HITL) processes.

  • Tooling & Process Improvement: Develop tools and workflows to enhance data collection, model evaluation, and production efficiency.

What makes you successful:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management or project leadership roles

  • Proven experience managing programs in a regulated environment (medical device, biotech, or similar)

  • Proven experience as an Agile Scrum Master, with understanding of Data Science methodologies

  • Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional teams without direct authority

  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills

  • PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master or similar certification

  • Lean Six Sigma certification
