Location expectations:
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week

U.S. Bank is seeking a Technical Program Manager to support the execution of large, complex enterprise initiatives within our Technical Portfolio Management organization. This role sits within a high-impact team aligned to AI Platform and Data Platform strategy, partnering closely with engineering, product, and enterprise architecture teams to deliver mission-critical programs including cloud migrations and platform transformations.

This person will own end-to-end delivery across multiple technical programs, acting as a central driver of execution across cross-functional teams. They will ensure alignment, manage risks and dependencies, and drive accountability to deliver results. The ideal candidate is a strong executor who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, communicates effectively with senior leadership, and pushes initiatives forward with urgency and ownership.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end program and portfolio management for large, complex enterprise initiatives (e.g., cloud migrations, platform builds)
  • Drive planning, execution, and tracking across AI and Data Platform programs
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Partner with engineering, product, and platform teams to align priorities and execution
  • Develop and deliver executive-level reporting, status updates, and presentations
  • Communicate program progress clearly to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Drive accountability across teams and ensure commitments and milestones are met
  • Support financial tracking, forecasting, and resource planning (including contractor oversight)
  • Maintain visibility into program health using tools such as JIRA
  • Facilitate strong cross-functional communication across a large, matrixed organization
Must Have Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Technical Portfolio Management, or Technical Project Management
  • Proven experience leading large, complex, enterprise-scale programs or transformations
  • Demonstrated ability to own delivery end-to-end (not just coordinate)
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders and leadership
  • Experience managing risks, issues, and dependencies across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work effectively with engineering, product, and platform teams in a matrixed environment
  • Experience creating executive-facing materials (presentations, reporting, program updates)
  • Strong execution mindset with a track record of driving outcomes and meeting commitments
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience supporting AI, Machine Learning, or Data Platform initiatives
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with JIRA or similar tools for program tracking and planning
  • Background supporting large-scale technology transformations (enterprise programs, migrations, platform builds)
  • Exposure to financial management (budget tracking, forecasting, contractor planning)
  • Experience working in environments with high executive visibility

Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
