Position Description:
CGI is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of enterprise AI and Generative AI initiatives within a fast paced, cloud first technology environment. This role is responsible for driving end to end program execution across multiple concurrent workstreams while partnering with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI solutions into production.
We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!.
This role is located at a client site in either Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
CGI is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of enterprise AI and Generative AI initiatives within a fast paced, cloud first technology environment. This role is responsible for driving end to end program execution across multiple concurrent workstreams while partnering with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI solutions into production.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in technical program management, AI delivery lifecycles, Agile execution, and cloud technologies-particularly AWS. This individual will oversee delivery planning, governance, risk management, release readiness, executive reporting, and cross functional coordination to ensure initiatives remain on schedule and aligned with business priorities. Success in this role requires exceptional leadership, organizational skills, and the technical fluency to collaborate effectively with engineering teams while communicating clearly with executive leadership.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 8+ years of experience leading complex technical programs involving AI and Generative AI solutions from concept through production deployment.
. Strong technical program management background with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and competing priorities.
. Experience working closely with Engineering, Product Management, Architecture, Infrastructure, Operations, and executive leadership.
. Solid understanding of AI/ML development lifecycles, SDLC methodologies, and modern engineering delivery practices.
. Hands on experience managing delivery roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks, RAID logs, and executive status reporting.
. Strong governance experience, including architecture reviews, stage gates, release planning, and production readiness.
. Excellent resource planning and capacity management skills within large enterprise technology organizations.
. Familiarity with AWS cloud services and cloud native application delivery; experience supporting AI workloads in AWS environments is highly preferred.
. Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
. Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project delivery tools.
. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders in a concise and business focused manner.
. Strong understanding of APIs, system architecture, integration patterns, and enterprise technology environments.
. Comfortable operating in fast moving, ambiguous environments while maintaining accountability for delivery outcomes.
. Exceptional leadership, organization, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Desired Skillset:
Agile, Scrum, PMP, AWS, or related cloud/program management certifications are preferred but not required.
3+ years supporting AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI initiatives in enterprise environments is strongly preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $127,500.00 $175,400.00.
