What are Technical Outside Sales?

Technical Outside Sales professionals are sales representatives who specialize in selling complex technical or scientific products and services to businesses. They work primarily outside the office, meeting with clients at their locations to understand their technical needs, present solutions, and close sales. These roles require both strong sales skills and deep technical knowledge, as representatives must explain product features, answer technical questions, and provide tailored recommendations. Technical Outside Sales professionals often collaborate with engineers and product specialists to ensure client requirements are met and maintain long-term customer relationships.
