IT Operation Manager (Bi-Lingual (Eng/Japanese)

Description
:
On-site Bi-Lingual (Eng/ Japanese) IT Operation Manager who needs to communicate with their IT staff in US and Japan and manage their IT operation who could be a backup of their IT expatriates manager from Japan.
- Basic proficiency in M365 (including Office applications), networking (LAN/WAN/remote access), and hardware devices (PCs, multifunction printers, etc.)
- Understanding of corporate systems (accounting, HR, etc.) and major cloud services
- Ability to strictly adhere to IT security policies and ensure compliance
- Capability to handle initial responses to incidents (performing basic troubleshooting to isolate issues with infrastructure, applications, etc.) and execute appropriate escalation procedures (experience in IT management/operations is a plus)
- Act as a liaison between the headquarters IT department and local users (understanding headquarters policies and driving their local implementation and adoption)
- Proactively manage the local IT environment (especially the office environment) to ensure stable operations (accurately managing IT assets, contracts, and configuration data)
- Effectively manage local vendors to ensure service quality
- Understand linguistic and cultural differences and facilitate smooth communication
- Take initiative rather than waiting for instructions; identify local issues from the user''s perspective, lead the resolution process, and propose improvements.
