Job description

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Project Manager and provide project management expertise and support to the Transmission Technology Services Work Planning & Delivery organization. This assignment will collaborate closely with key managerial stakeholders, architects, subject matter experts and compliance staff to develop Operational Technology projects and program initiatives specifically related to cyber security. Collaborating closely with the IT Portfolio manager, the PM will work with project teams to draft and execute project plans; create and track schedules and budgets; facilitate and coordinate project activities; track, monitor, and provide detailed status and milestone reporting for multiple designated projects.
This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid based in Vancouver, WA with onsite 1 - 2 days per week. The hourly pay rate range for this position is between $65.00 and $75.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.
The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
10 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor's degree.
14 years of experience is required without a degree or a non-applicable bachelor's degree.
Service Desk or Operations and Maintenance (O&M) experience will not meet project experience requirements.
Experience must include project management of IT Software and network infrastructure related projects and applications; integration of projects using industry standard methods and tools for managing schedules, dependencies, resources, funding and developing technical specifications and project plans for medium-to large-sized projects.
Advanced skills with MS Project to include fundamental operation, function, and workflow regarding timelines, dependencies, project expectations, milestones, and resources.
Demonstrated ability to manage IT Software, Network Infrastructure projects and/or Applications Integrations projects in accordance with industry project management principles.
Expert in supporting full lifecycle of projects through the IT Systems Development Lifecycle.
Expert at eliciting information from stakeholders, documenting and communicating, including via Project Plans, Functional & Technical Specifications, Schedules, Resource Plans, Budgets and Presentations.
Demonstrated experience with expert-level communication and customer service skills to advance assigned project(s) forward in a large agency environment with multiple stakeholders.
Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID is required.
Preferred Skills:
IT project management experience within an Information Technology or Operational Technology environment
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
