Ascentec Engineering is hiring!  We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team! We are a rapidly growing company specializing in manufacturing high-quality products for our world-class customers. This position is on-site (not remote/not hybrid) and not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship. 

Requirements

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring they meet established timeframes, specifications, and budgets.
Develop product configurations and methods utilizing Epicor ERP system.
Manage project risks, including timely identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
Coordinate and lead project meetings to ensure clear communication of project statuses, milestones, and expectations across all stakeholders.
Implement project management best practices using tools like MS Project or similar to track progress and manage resources.
Facilitate collaboration across functional teams to ensure alignment and efficient execution of project objectives.
Manage the scope of projects, including overseeing the change request process and ensuring any changes are documented, approved, and implemented effectively.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree and above in engineering, or a related technical field.
Certifications: Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.


EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience specifically in the manufacturing of physical technical products.
Proven track record of managing projects with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and interpret technical specifications and requirements.
Knowledge of ERP systems and their application in project management, Epicor preferred.
Familiarity with agile and traditional project management methodologies.
Ability to analyze drawings, design models, and sketches to determine dimensions and configuration related to shop processes, customer specifications, and machine capabilities.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of working constructively with all stakeholders, including team members, management, and external partners.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to changing priorities.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
In a typical day, the employee will spend time in the office and on the production floor.
May regularly walk, bend, and lift up to 10 pounds.

COMPENSATION / BENEFITS:
$80,000 to $110,000 annual salary DOE
