This opportunity is hybrid with a maximum 2 days virtual office, and based near one of our office locations in; Wilmington Delaware USA, Ashby de la Zouch UK, Bruchsal Germany, Trecate Italy, Neyron France, Bangalore India, and Singapore.

The candidate will be working within a global team of R&D scientists and Applications Engineers and in coordination with Business Unit leaders, Sales and Development partners. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the portfolio of New Product Development Projects as well as Application Development Projects related to advanced electronic inks, pastes and tapes and deliver to internal and external customers high quality services within budget and defined plans.

What will you be doing?

The role requires you to work both on strategic goals as well as project goals and coordinate the global Micromax application engineering activities accordingly:

  • Overall responsibility for the planning and management of internal and external projects related to the development of Micromax business unit.
  • Work on a global level with R&D teams (US, Europe, Asia), internal stakeholders, to ensure the relevant expertise is employed in defining, planning and executing projects.
  • Responsibility for assembling project teams, defining schedules, tracking technical activities, and generating project progress reports.
  • Align programs and portfolios with BTSO and ASO business strategy and enterprise goals. Ensures all program efforts support organizational priorities.  Advises on strategic resource and project prioritization.  Aligns programs to evolving customer and market needs.
  • Work closely with Line of Business Owners, Product Managers, as well as Manufacturing and Quality to ensure continuous alignment and up-to-date information flow.
  • Establish and optimize application development processes within Micromax to align with strategic business goals, accelerate growth, and drive operational excellence through measurable KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the design of internal processes and the optimization of project management methods.
Who are You?
  • B.Sc degree in Material Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering or other related technical discipline;
  • MS strongly preferred.
  • Be capable of managing complex projects and be able to employ different management concepts such as Agile, Waterfall and others as needed.
  • Relevant Project Management training (PMP/CSM/CPMP or similar) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in management of Technology-Oriented Projects and/or work experience in the field of Electronics.

  • Willingness to travel and build strong relationships with the global team, as needed. Expected to be ~ 20% domestic and international.

The typical base salary range for this position is between $128,636 and $192,954
