Job Description:
"Capgemini is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager with exceptional work experience to join our extraordinary engineering team in Pittsburgh, PA. As a senior technical program manager at Capgemini, you will have the opportunity to work on high-reaching projects, collaborate with a diverse, dedicated team, and make a significant impact on our clients' success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Close collaboration with the client, Capgemini global teams, and team members at the client site(s) for smooth project execution, acceptance and approvals, and closure of actions/requests
• Communicating development strategies & plans to Capgemini & client management
• Monitoring engagement/project health & quality through project management tools (JIRA) and ensuring corrective actions
• Reporting the engagement/project status to Capgemini & client management teams (weekly, quarterly status reviews)
• Tracking actions (identified in status reviews) to closure
• Leading teams at multiple client sites
• Close collaboration with the account executive/sales function for new opportunities and contracts
• Collaboration with multiple client teams to ensure clarity with respect to scope, risks for contracts (SOWs)
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in STEM or similar education
• 10-14 years of strong experience in software development technologies like Cloud (AWS), Web (Java, Spring boot, Python and Angular), Device connectivity (Ethernet, USB, Wi-Fi), Linux (Ubuntu 22+), Cybersecurity etc.
• 5+ Technical Program Management experience to support and empower teams with technical skills and ready to engage in technology-related tasks as needed
• Experience in collaborating across different teams: across various client teams, Capgemini GECs (India, Portugal), teams at multiple client locations
• Ability to understand and explain the various software systems and technical challenges/dependencies/risks
• Project monitoring through project management tools (JIRA)
• Experience in working in Agile environments
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
Nice to have:
• Full software life cycle experience in the medical domain"
