This position reports to Global HRIS Manager.  The PeopleSoft technical consultant will lead technical projects and provide application support for our global PeopleSoft core HR application (version 8.9) that houses information about 9,600+ active employees and contingent workers using multiple languages. The consultant will work closely with HRIS technical team and HR functional experts to provide innovative solutions

Key responsibilities
    Lead design, code and unit test small and medium projects that require changes to PeopleSoft
    Gather business requirements, analyze business processes and provide options using best practices
    Develop and maintain integrations between PeopleSoft core HR and external applications like ADP Payroll, SuccessFactors, SilkRoad (OpenHire, RedCarpet), Plateau LMS, Ceridian Benefits, etc.
    Develop test scripts tied to business requirements and act as an independent tester
    Communicate with HRIS team and business users on a routine basis
    Collaborate with process owners in HR, Payroll, etc. for continuous improvement and alignment
    Manage documents including business requirements, business process flows, functional and specifications, Technical design, configuration workbooks, etc.
    Manage small/mid-size projects while engaging key stakeholders, managing scope, issues, risks, etc.
    PeopleSoft technical lead/architect to ensure that PeopleSoft integrations conform to Best practices

Qualifications
    B.S in Computer Science, Engineering; M.S. is a plus
    PeopleSoft 8/9.x Developer certification
Experience
    5+ years of experience using PeopleSoft development tools
    2+ full life-cycle PeopleSoft implementations, preferably in a global company
    1+  PeopleSoft upgrade projects throughout their lifecycle; upgrade project to 9.2 will be a plus
    2+ years of experience supporting PeopleSoft applications in a global, multi-lingual company
    2+ years of experience playing the role of Technical architect for HR, Payroll applications is a plus

General
    Excellent verbal and written skills to communicate with technical, functional experts and end-users
    Strong knowledge of and adherence to development standards and implementing best practices
    Self-motivated with an ability to work both as an individual contributor and in a team
    Ability to manage and organize workload effectively, prioritize tasks, manage time well
    Strong sense of ownership and drive, and a passion for customer satisfaction
    Ability to communicate in non-English languages like French, German, Japanese or Italian is a plus
Technical
    Strong PeopleSoft development skills to build Reports, Queries, online pages and Interfaces
    Strong knowledge of PeopleTools 8.49 or higher including Peoplecode, Application Designer, ExcelToCI, SQL, PS Query, SQR, Application Engine, Integration Broker, etc.
    Experience in PeopleSoft Security, Approval Workflow Engine(AWE) & Self-service (MSS, ESS)
    Experience in SOA or other technologies to rationalize integrations between PeopleSoft and other internal/external applications, including 3rd party business partners
    Experience with PeopleSoft HR and Payroll Interface modules using version 8.9 or higher
    Past interface development experience using WebServices through Peoplesoft and XML desired; prior experience with RedCarpet and/or OpenHire (SilkRoad) will be a plus
    Strong debugging skills on Peoplecode/SQRs/App Engine/and overall PS Application
    Functional knowledge of multiple functional areas such as core HR, Payroll, Compensation, etc.
    Experience in SDLC and Agile development processes
