Job description


  • Develop and track configuration documentation, data, and software for technical products, services, and processes

  • Ensure configuration items are properly stored and controlled throughout their lifecycle

  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather information

  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation and timely delivery to the government customer

  • Utilize configuration management tools and systems to track and control configuration items throughout the development lifecycle

  • Maintain records and documentation of configuration item status and history

  • Track changes, updates, and releases, and keep the internal configuration management database up to date

  • Monitor and audit configuration changes for compliance with established processes and procedures

  • Support development teams with configuration management-related tasks and inquiries

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance configuration management efficiency and effectiveness


Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Communications, Computer Science or a related field

  • Five (5) years experience working directly as a CM of a Team

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date configuration documentation

  • Understanding of configuration management principles and concepts, including creating and maintaining bills of material (BOMs) and/or baselines (BLs)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely

  • Must have the ability to obtain SECRET clearance; active SECRET or above preferred

  • Familiarity with SharePoint platform is a plus
