Job description

A PBE Technical Consultant provides Technical, Demo and Training Support for all SSI/NCS Stores in a designated territory.

Technical Consultant Duties:
  • Assist with scheduling and managing training classes (most classes will be taught by Manufacturing personnel)
  • track the store & body shop Personnel on their training levels
  • Assist with non-Paint Company classes (MMM, ECT)
  • Assist with onsite shop training of PBE accounts, trouble shoot problem areas, new products, and equipment
  • Submit activity reports
  • Provides Demo support for SSI stores in region including new products to existing accounts and target accounts.
  • Conducts in store training for SSI Store Personnel on all new products when Manufactures Rep is not available.
  • Be available for Special Projects in other regions of the country
  • travel is required

Technical Consultant Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Leadership and excellent communication skills are required
  • 3 years of automotive paint spraying experience
  • Understanding of the Body Shop business
  • Automotive painting skills and an understanding of the equipment is required
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
