Summary of the Position
Falvey Insurance Group is looking to grow the Falvey Family and is looking for candidates that are detailed orientated, customer service focused, and interested in careers in insurance, to apply for our Underwriting Technical Assistant support staff position.
Candidates should be familiar with working in a fast paced, collaborative, office environment and have a willingness to achieve an insurance producers license (if not already licensed.)
Our Underwriting Technical Support Staff are responsible for a variety of tasks, including working with Underwriters to prepare quotes, policies, and endorsements as per Underwriters instructions, file management, and data entry in our proprietary intranet system.
Falvey Insurance Group's proprietary intranet system is designed and built in-house, and hands on training will be provided over the first 3 months of employment.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit and work quietly for extended periods of time, operate a computer, and answer and communicate on a telephone.
Working Conditions
Business-casual fast paced multi-tasking office environment.
Hours of Operations
This position supports our marketing efforts internationally. This position's work hours are Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm, in a hybrid work environment. Our hybrid environment is 3 days within our business-casual office environment. Of these 3 days in the office, Wednesday and Thursday are required, and employees may work from home the other 2 days. Our employees choose their schedule. This position requires occasional flexibility for working additional hours to accomplish project objectives.
