Surgical Technologist (OR Tech)
Location: Weston, FL

Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (OR Tech) to support surgical procedures in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong operating room experience, excellent sterile technique knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with surgeons, nurses, and the surgical team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Maintain sterile field throughout surgical cases
  • Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures
  • Assist with patient positioning and surgical preparation
  • Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts according to policy
  • Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical instruments
  • Support surgeons and nursing staff during procedures
  • Maintain patient safety and infection prevention standards
  • Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent cases
  • Float to other surgical areas as needed within scope of practice
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 Years of Surgical Technologist Experience
  • BLS Certification Required
  • NBSTSA or NCCT Certification Recommended
  • Specialty Surgical Experience Required
  • Experience in Acute Care Operating Room Setting
  • EPIC Experience Preferred
  • Must be able to float to sister facilities if needed
