Job Summary:
Tech Rage IT is an award-winning technology firm providing Managed IT Services and IT consulting. They are seeking an IT Support Desk Technician to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, while gaining hands-on experience with various technologies.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
โ€ข Receive and triage incoming support requests.
โ€ข Provides first-level telephone, email, remote and onsite support for computers, networking, software, and other technical issues; average 10-20 support tickets per day.
โ€ข Work with third parties and vendors to assist with warranty, support, and/or service issues.
โ€ข Document technical support issues and resolutions.
โ€ข Achieve and maintain a 90% or higher customer satisfaction average score.
โ€ข Maintain proper time tracking and time management discipline to achieve efficiency goals.
โ€ข Continually train and earn certifications to stay up to date on new technologies and processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข High School Diploma or equivalent.
โ€ข Minimum 1 years' experience providing stellar customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
โ€ข Demonstrated interest, education, or hands-on experience in IT/technology field.
โ€ข Understand basic operations of computer hardware, software, and networking.
โ€ข Available 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday - 8am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch.
โ€ข Participation in on-call rotation; ability to work overtime, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
โ€ข In-office attendance in Winter Springs, FL.
โ€ข Able and willing to do local travel to Central Florida client sites; reliable transportation, valid driverโ€™s license, and vehicle insurance.

โ€ข Successfully pass pre-employment verification checks.
