Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-level technical support for hospital staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network issues
  • Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Support Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other clinical applications under supervision
  • Help manage user accounts, access permissions, and password resets in accordance with security and HIPAA requirements
  • Assist with routine IT maintenance, updates, and inventory tracking
  • Respond to help desk requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Support cybersecurity best practices, including device security and data protection
  • Assist with documentation of IT procedures, workflows, and troubleshooting guides
  • Collaborate with IT staff on special projects and technology upgrades as assigned

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Report to work on time and as scheduled.
  • Wear identification while on duty.
  • Maintain regulatory requirements, including all state, federal and local regulations.
