“WHERE ADVENTURE MEETS DEVELOPMENT”

SOAR Facilitators are Part-time, As-needed, Year-round

  • Most SOAR Programs are in the Lake Arrowhead / Big Bear Lake areas

This is a great opportunity to work in and around your current job while adding to what you're already doing well.

You will be trained to be a Team Building, Leadership Development & Ropes Course Facilitator. You will learn how to guide outdoor activities that will assist others in the areas of team building and leadership development as well as facilitating Low & High Ropes Course elements.

SOAR provides programs for Schools, Universities, Adult and Youth Leadership groups, Churches, Corporations, Sports Teams and other organizations. The SOAR Facilitators include all walks of life bringing their individuality, creating our powerful team!

We are looking for Applicants that are caring and people-focused individuals who have the desire to connect with each group to make a difference every time!

Qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to manipulate ropes and other related gear for High Ropes Course
  • Have reliable transportation to work

SOAR provides the training. You provide the heart.
Our facilitators receive training in all aspects of leading groups through experiential activities and high ropes course challenges.
All positions are part-time, as needed and are a great "Side Hustle"
As groups book programs with SOAR, we reach out to our Facilitators. You decide which programs fit in to your current schedule. This is a opportunity to add to your current skill-set and schedule. Our Facilitators have other jobs, family commitments and school commitments. This position allows you to work within your current life schedule.
SOAR facilitators provide programs for youth, corporate, church groups, sports teams and any other groups looking to increase their ability to work together in a positive and effective manner. Our Facilitators lead groups through various activities, low ropes courses and High Ropes/Challenge Courses.
Through this series of activities, groups attending SOAR programs are challenged to accomplish tasks through creative problem-solving, trust building, effective communication and most importantly, teamwork. Experientially based programs are profound; the principles are not taught, the discovery is experienced creating lasting results.
