Teacher Assistant for the coming 2026-27 school year, to assist at the elementary level. The applicant must be nurturing, creative and a dedicated professional with the ability to support the learning environment, cultivate critical thinking skills, and work collaboratively as part of a team. The candidate performs all duties in alignment with the mission, vision, and tenets of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on education and years of experience.
Qualifications: - Minimum of a high school diploma or associated degree; Bachelor's in education preferred.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to assist the teacher with small groups, yard duty, and other duties pertaining to a teacher assistant.
- Ability to work as a team member with a variety of students, parents, and staff.
- Apple and technology skills needed with digital books and interactive classroom technology, as well as the ability to integrate technology into the subjects.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
- Proficiency in Google apps.
- Excellent oral and written English language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
