We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Live-In House Parent to provide care, guidance, structure, and support for up to four boys ages 3โ€“18 living in a neighborhood foster home.

Essential ResponsibilitiesYouth Care & Supervision
  • Provide daily supervision, guidance, and support in a residential foster home setting

  • Establish and maintain a safe, stable, and nurturing environment

  • Serve as a positive role model and mentor

  • Build trusting relationships through consistency, patience, and compassion

  • Reinforce positive behaviors and implement behavioral support strategies

  • Assist youth in developing social, emotional, problem-solving, and independent living skills

  • Support educational goals, treatment plans, and case plan objectives

Transportation & Community Engagement
  • Transport youth using a company-provided vehicle

  • Ensure attendance at school, medical appointments, therapy sessions, court appearances, and extracurricular activities

  • Encourage participation in recreational, educational, and community-based opportunities

Care Coordination
  • Collaborate with therapists, case managers, educators, probation officers, medical providers, mentors, and agency staff

  • Support treatment recommendations and service plans

  • Communicate youth progress, concerns, and accomplishments

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Household Management
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home

  • Prepare meals and oversee daily routines

  • Teach youth household responsibilities and independent living skills

  • Manage schedules, appointments, and activities

  • Complete required documentation and records

Safety & Crisis Response
  • Monitor youth behavior and respond appropriately to challenges

  • Utilize trauma-informed approaches and de-escalation techniques

  • Follow agency policies, emergency procedures, and licensing requirements

  • Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, crisis intervention, and youth development

QualificationsRequired
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record

  • Ability to pass background screening, drug screening, and licensing requirements

  • Ability to reside full-time in the foster home

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage a household environment

  • Ability to establish healthy boundaries while providing compassionate care
