Overview

Addison Reserve Country Club is seeking a passionate and engaging Teaching Professional to join our golf professional team. This position is ideal for a dedicated golf instructor who enjoys working with members of all skill levels and is committed to player development, exceptional service, and growing participation in the game of golf.

The Teaching Professional will provide high-quality private and group instruction, develop engaging instructional programs, support junior and beginner golf initiatives, and build strong relationships with members and guests. The successful candidate will bring a professional presence, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping golfers improve and enjoy the game.

Experience Required Required
  • PGA of America Member or LPGA Professional in good standing.
  • Previous teaching experience in a private club setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching and growing the game of golf.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible seasonal schedules.
Preferred
  • Experience developing and leading women's golf programs.
  • Experience teaching junior golfers and beginners.
  • Proficiency with launch monitor technology and video analysis.

Essential Responsibilities Instruction & Player Development

  • Utilize modern teaching technology, launch monitors, video analysis, and training aids to enhance instruction.
  • Adapt instruction to accommodate golfers of varying ages, skill levels, and learning styles.
  • Encourage continued player development and increased participation in instructional programs.
Member Engagement
  • Foster strong, professional relationships with members and guests.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for new golfers and players looking to improve.
  • Participate in member events, golf activities, and instructional demonstrations.
  • Promote golf participation and help expand instructional programming throughout the season.
  • Deliver an exceptional member experience consistent with the standards of Addison Reserve Country Club.
Golf Operations Support
  • Attend golf events and tournaments as needed.
  • Support daily golf operations and member services during peak periods.
  • Collaborate with the professional golf staff to provide outstanding overall member experience.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct consistent with the standards of Addison Reserve Country Club.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Golf or designated supervisor.
