A privately owned, single-family real estate business seeking a Tax Associate to join our close-knit team. This role offers a panoramic view of our business. You will be deeply involved in all aspects of tax accounting, ranging from federal and SALT compliance to high-level research, planning, and advisory work.

  • In Office Policy: 4 days in office
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations
  • Support the calculation and reporting of tax liabilities
  • Conduct research on tax laws, review financial statements, and provide assistance with audits or inquiries.
  • The Tax Associate will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all tax-related matters.

  • Proficiency in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and general Tax knowledge
  • Understanding of Tax Law and its application in various scenarios
  • Familiarity with Finance concepts and ability to analyze financial statements
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in relevant tax software and accounting tools: CCH Axcess proficiency is a big plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1 - 4 Previous experience in taxation, preferably within the real estate or property management sectors, is a plus
  • CPA certification or progress toward certification is beneficial
