Job Description

The Partnership Tax Manager is responsible for reviewing complex partnership tax returns and providing high-level tax consulting services to partnership clients across multiple industries. This role involves managing client engagements, advising on Subchapter K matters, evaluating partnership agreements and IRC 704(b) accounts, and identifying tax planning opportunities. The manager will lead and mentor staff, collaborate with cross-functional teams, respond to IRS and tax authority inquiries, and maintain strong client relationships. The position also supports business development initiatives and operates in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA required
Minimum six to ten years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or a combination of industry and public accounting experience
Strong expertise in partnership taxation, US GAAP, and non-corporate entity returns
Proven leadership, client service, and project management skills
Prefer experience with entity formation and mergers & acquisitions is preferred
Ability to travel as needed
