Job description

In our 103th year, the Mitchell Auto Group operates six locations and is in need of an additional member of our Luxury Service Team at Mitchell Volvo Cars located in Simsbury Connecticut.

Responsibilities

  • Immediately acknowledge customers and assist them in procuring the needed parts and accessories.
  • Track lost sales.
  • Assist customers in carrying out their parts.
  • Offer to procure needed parts not in stock utilizing daily orders and/or critical orders.
  • Answer incoming phone calls within the third ring politely identifying the department and your name.
  • Prepare billing documentation utilizing ERA system.
  • Immediately acknowledge and assist the internal customers including but not limited to technicians, sales personnel and managers.
  • Fill orders from current stock and/or procure needed parts by sourcing from other dealers or from the manufacturer utilizing the daily orders or critical orders.
  • Discuss availability issues with your manager and other associated internal personnel.
  • Track lost sales.
  • Receive warranty return parts, tag them and await warranty internal processing.
  • Prepare billing documentation utilizing the ERA system.
  • Deliver parts to the technicians when warranted.
  • Maintain and provide a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ensure that the customer signs all charge sales.
  • When making tax-exempt sales other than to a charge or cash account, ensure that the customer’s full name, address, ICC number and signature are obtained. Ensure that all tax-exempt customers are flagged with a Connecticut tax ID number and a resale certificate are on file.
  • Assist in receiving all orders and placing the stock in the appropriate/designated areas.
  • Prepare all shipments for UPS, FedEx, driver delivery etc.
  • Maintain parts department environment in such a fashion as to promote safety and cleanliness
  • Maintain proper training levels and certification as prescribed by our manufacturer and management
  • Track lost sales utilizing ERA system.
