We are currently looking for an Associate to join our Tax group, based in New York.
Responsibilities
  • Preparation of tax workpapers for special purpose and other investment vehicles.
  • Review returns and K-1s prepared by service providers.
  • Prepare workpapers supporting 1042, 1099, and NYS LLC filings.
  • Government reporting including FBAR and FATCA/CRS.
  • Prepare entity tax documents such as W-81MY, W-8BEN-E.
  • Obtain GIIN and tax ID numbers.
  • Prepare check the box elections.
  • Support to ASC 740 analysis and preparing responses to investor inquires.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in general tax, hedge fund or private equity industry
  • Background in partnership tax compliance

The average salary for this role is $90,000-$100,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay will be determined based on your experience, location, skills, training, certifications, and education, and in additional we will also consider internal equity and market data. We do not anticipate that candidates hired will begin at the top of the range, however from time to time, it may occur on a case by case basis.
