Job description

AE Dairy is looking for an organized, energetic, and people-focused Taste Ambassador Coordinator to join our Marketing team. This part-time position plays a key role in coordinating our in-store sampling program and supporting our team of Taste Ambassadors who represent AE Dairy in grocery stores throughout the region.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Taste Ambassador Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison between our Sales team and our in-store Taste Ambassadors, ensuring sampling events are organized, staffed, and executed successfully.
About Our Taste Ambassador Program
Our Taste Ambassadors are AE Dairy team members who bring our products directly to consumers through in-store sampling events. They're the friendly faces introducing shoppers to new flavors and reminding them why AE Dairy favorites have stood the test of time.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination
  • Coordinate weekly in-store product sampling events
  • Communicate store assignments and event details to Taste Ambassadors
  • Ensure team members have the products, supplies, and information needed
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Sales and the Taste Ambassador team

Administrative Support
  • Submit payroll hours for Taste Ambassadors
  • Maintain tracking spreadsheets and sampling performance reports
  • Assist with program organization
  • Coordinate the sampling calendar, including products and retail locations
  • Ensure proper event coverage and staffing
  • Support execution of weekend sampling programs

Team Leadership
  • Assist with training, onboarding, and coaching
  • Foster a positive and professional team environment
  • Provide ongoing support to team members and retail partners

Schedule
  • 10-20 hours per week

Required office hours at AE Dairy Headquarters (East University Avenue):
  • Monday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Thursday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Some flexibility may be available with hours, but required workdays remain Monday and Thursday.
  • Additional hours available through participation in sampling events on Saturdays and Sundays at local grocery store locations.

Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Comfortable working with multiple team members and retail partners
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications
  • Ability to work independently

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during sampling events
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Reliable transportation for occasional travel between local grocery store locations

Additional Requirements
  • Must successfully pass a background check
