Customer Service Representative (Financial Services)

Location: Tempe, AZ

Employment Type: Contract

Max Pay Rate: $24.00/hr

Duration: 3 Months (Strong potential for extension up to 6+ months and possible full-time conversion)

Schedule: Hybrid

  • Training (First Month): 100% Onsite (Monday–Friday)
  • After Training: Tuesday–Thursday Onsite | Monday & Friday Remote

Bilingual Spanish candidates are highly preferred.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support a financial services team focused on customer outreach, lead validation, referral management, and client support. This role will serve as the first point of contact for customers, confirming business needs, coordinating referrals, documenting interactions, and supporting sales consultants throughout the customer onboarding process.

This position is ideal for candidates with strong customer service or contact center experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple customer interactions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls professionally.
  • Contact customers to verify business needs and qualify referrals.
  • Route confirmed opportunities to the appropriate sales consultants.
  • Schedule customer callbacks and appointments.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and detailed call documentation.
  • Track contact attempts and manage referral pipelines.
  • Support customers with documentation, contract validation, and onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely customer follow-up.
  • Utilize multiple systems to document customer interactions and manage referrals.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and provide feedback to improve customer service processes.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service, financial services, or contact center experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience handling inbound and outbound customer calls.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Financial services or banking experience.
  • Contact center or call center experience.
  • Sales support, referral management, or lead qualification experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Experience supporting customer onboarding or account opening processes
