Job description

About Moove

At Moove AV, we’re on a mission to make the world safer by enabling autonomy in transportation. Partnering with industry leaders like Waymo, we’re redefining fleet management and driving the commercialization of autonomous vehicles.

We’re expanding globally and seeking passionate, innovative professionals to join our journey. If you’re ready to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and help make mobility safer, more efficient, and accessible, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

As the Director, Talent Acquisition, at Moove AV, you will be the primary architect of our global talent acquisition engine. Reporting to the Head of People, you are responsible for designing and executing a sophisticated recruiting strategy that balances high-volume frontline hiring for our depots with complex international scaling. This role requires a hands-on visionary leader who is equally comfortable deep-diving into AI-driven automation and leading high-touch, executive-level searches with poise and presence.

You will be joining an extremely fast-paced, hard-working team that is genuinely excited about the future of what we are building. We don’t just post jobs; we create solutions to ensure we have the right people in the right seats at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and own the overarching Moove AV hiring playbook; design creative recruiting strategies that keep the funnel "always filled" through methods beyond traditional job postings.

  • High-Volume Depot Operations: Direct the end-to-end strategy for frontline, hourly hiring across our depot network. You must ensure a constant, healthy flow of talent to meet the dynamic, high-capacity needs of our operational hubs.

  • Global Scaling: Lead domestic and international expansion, focusing on the unique challenges of scaling operations at pace while maintaining high quality-of-hire.

  • Systems & Automation: Oversee the ATS infrastructure, integrating cutting-edge AI tools and automation to streamline the candidate journey and optimize pipeline adherence.

  • Hiring Manager Partnership & Accountability: Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers to co-author precise job descriptions. You will champion the importance of data integrity and process discipline, ensuring all stakeholders understand and adhere to the standard operating procedures that protect the company.

  • Executive Search: Personally manage high-level requisitions, maintaining a sophisticated presence and high-touch communication style when engaging with executive leadership.

  • Compliance & Risk Management: Enforce strict adherence to State, Federal, International, and internal compliance benchmarks, as well as specific industry and partner requirements. You must be comfortable "pushing back" to ensure processes are followed and the company remains insulated from risk.

  • Brand & Outbound: Drive top-of-funnel growth through social media strategy, LinkedIn Recruiter mastery, and proactive outsourcing/headhunting.

  • Internal Relationships: Build strong, trust-based relationships across the organization to ensure recruiting remains a cohesive part of the broader Moove AV mission.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Proven track record in a Director-level role, with 10+ years of specific expertise in high-volume hourly hiring and scaling both domestic and international locations.

  • Industry Background: Previous experience in Tech, Autonomous Vehicles (AV), Logistics, or high-intensity Operations is highly preferred.

  • Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence executive leadership and lead high-level negotiations.

  • Compliance Expert: Deep understanding of hiring legalities and a "gatekeeper" mentality regarding data control and procedural rules.

  • Tech-Savvy: Expert-level knowledge of ATS management, LinkedIn Recruiter, and the implementation of AI tools in the recruiting workflow.

  • Grit & Creativity: A "creative solution" mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-intensity, rapid-growth environment.

Why You’ll Succeed

You don't just fill seats; you build the systems that find the people who change the company. You are a data-driven leader who understands that a world-class recruiting function is built on a foundation of repeatable processes, creative outreach, and a relentless commitment to risk compliance.

About the team

Our team is collaborative, positive, curious, and engaged. We think fast, work smart, laugh often, and are looking for like-minded people to join us in our mission to disrupt vehicle ownership and make financial freedom within reach.
